Lord, please do for ________ what you did for Gideon. Find _______ in her (his) hiding place and be face to face with her (him). Call to ________ as a mighty warrior, not the defeated victim she (he) might believe she (he) is. Overwhelm her (him) with Your presence and empower her (him) with Your peace. Let Your peace be the fuel for her (his) hope and security as she (he) faces the future. Show Yourself as Jehovah Shalom, the God who provides peace for her (his) soul.

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD. And I will worship the LORD. ~1 Samuel 1:27-28

"A fervent praying warrior goes to battle for me each day. Isn't that sweet? She picks up her sword and her shield, and she goes to work! I'm a coach, and I understand what that means - to sweat and bleed, and rough it out; and you do that every time you...pray. This isn't tiddlywinks, and it's not patty-cake, this is war, and you're going to war on behalf of your kids." -Ty Nichols speaking to a group of praying moms about his mother, Fern Nichols, founder of Moms in Touch, Intl.
