I pray that ________ will consider everything as worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus as her (his) Lord. For Christ’s sake, let her (him) discard everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that she (he) can gain Christ and become one with Him. Help her (him) to no longer count on her (his) own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, to become righteous through faith in Christ. For your way of making us right with yourself depends on faith.

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD. And I will worship the LORD. ~1 Samuel 1:27-28

"A fervent praying warrior goes to battle for me each day. Isn't that sweet? She picks up her sword and her shield, and she goes to work! I'm a coach, and I understand what that means - to sweat and bleed, and rough it out; and you do that every time you...pray. This isn't tiddlywinks, and it's not patty-cake, this is war, and you're going to war on behalf of your kids." -Ty Nichols speaking to a group of praying moms about his mother, Fern Nichols, founder of Moms in Touch, Intl.
